Toronto-Danforth is changing rapidly, and our community needs leadership that understands both the opportunities and the pressures facing residents, workers, families, and small businesses.
I grew up in this community. I'm aware of the specific needs of our neighbourhoods. What needs changing. What needs preserving. I live in Ward 14, Toronto-Danforth.
As your City Councillor, I will work to make lives better.
As a former municipal councillor, healthcare executive, researcher, and small business owner in the Broadview Danforth community, I bring practical experience in policy, operations, and collaboration. I believe we can build a healthier, safer, more affordable, and vibrant Toronto-Danforth by supporting strong neighbourhoods, thoughtful growth, local businesses, accessible public spaces and responsive local government. This campaign is about practical action, community connection, and building a city that continues to work for the people who live here.
After 23 years of the same, it is time for meaningful change.
Thoughtful Growth
Toronto-Danforth is growing rapidly. New housing and transit investments are essential, but growth must be planned alongside the services and infrastructure communities need to thrive. We cannot continue adding density without protecting parks, public spaces, schools, healthcare access, and the small businesses that give our neighbourhoods life and character.
Jobs & Economic Vitality
A healthy community needs places for people to work, create, and build businesses close to home. As Toronto-Danforth grows, we must protect local businesses and economic opportunity while ensuring growth includes space for innovation, arts, trades, healthcare, and future entrepreneurs. Neighbourhoods need both housing and local jobs so residents can live, work, and contribute within the communities they call home.

Safe, Clean and Connected Neighbourhoods
People deserve to feel safe and connected in the communities they call home. Toronto-Danforth’s parks, streets, transit, and public spaces should be welcoming, clean, accessible, and well-maintained for everyone. Residents are increasingly concerned about TTC safety, garbage, graffiti, drug use in public spaces, and the growing pressure on community services. We need balanced, practical solutions that support both public safety and community wellbeing. I will advocate for cleaner streets and parks, improved transit safety, responsive city services, accessible public spaces, and stronger partnerships that support mental health, harm reduction, and community care.

Toronto-Danforth is growing rapidly, and growth must be planned carefully to ensure our neighbourhoods remain livable, affordable, and connected. New housing and transit investments are important, but density cannot come without the infrastructure and economic opportunities that support healthy communities. We need parks, schools, healthcare access, community spaces, walkable streets, and places for people to work close to home. I believe in thoughtful growth that supports both housing and local economic vitality while protecting the character and diversity that make our neighbourhoods unique.

Building a Stronger Toronto-Danforth Together
Strong neighbourhoods depend on public services people can see, use, and trust. Toronto-Danforth needs clean parks, reliable waste collection, safer streets, accessible public spaces, and infrastructure that can handle growth, extreme weather, and rising pressure on our city systems. As we add density, we must plan for energy reliability, sewer and stormwater capacity, garbage and recycling systems that actually work, and public access to the services residents rely on every day. I will advocate for practical investment in resilient infrastructure, better waste accountability, neighbourhood energy planning, cleaner public spaces, and transparent service standards so residents know what the City is doing, how well it is working, and where improvements are needed. Good government should not feel mysterious. It should show up in the basics: clean streets, maintained parks, reliable services, safe public spaces, and infrastructure built for the future.
A Vision for What Comes Next
Toronto-Danforth has been served for many years by Paula Fletcher, whose commitment to public life and progressive city-building deserves respect. But every community reaches a moment when it must ask what comes next.
This is that moment.
Our ward is changing quickly. Growth, affordability, safety, development, displacement, and pressure on our main streets are not separate issues. They are connected. Housing policy affects health. Zoning affects local business. Density affects transit, parks, schools, healthcare access, and whether people can afford to stay in the neighbourhoods they love.
I have done this work before.
As a former municipal councillor, I helped build partnerships between local government and public health. I worked to bring a health lens to the Official Community Plan because I believe planning is not just about buildings. It is about people. It is about whether a community is safe, connected, affordable, and able to thrive.
Toronto-Danforth needs leadership that can connect the dots and get things done.
I am running to bring my experience in government, healthcare, research, technology, small business, and community leadership home to Toronto-Danforth. I respect the work that has come before. Now I want to bring my experience home to serve the community that shaped me.
I am ready to help build what comes next.
